A health-care provider located on the fringe of the CBD is seeking a high-volume payroll officer.

Your new company
A long serving health-care provider located on the fringe of the Melbourne CBD is seeking a payroll officer who is adept with high-volume payruns to assist for a short-term contract. This institute is a leader in advocating for the betterment of Australian's health and well-being, innovators in their field and are passionate about on-going research and teaching.

Your new role
Reporting to the manager, you will be responsible for:

• End-to-end payroll for up to, but not limited to 1500 + employees
• Complex calculations of EBA's and awards
• Calculations of leave, superannuation
• Processing new starters and resignations
• Handling queries over email and phone
• Providing assistance for financial adhoc duties as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Immediately available or available on short-notice
• CHRIS21 (or large payroll system equivalent) experience is highly desirable
• Experience in end-to-end payroll in high volumes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience within a similar role
• Able to work autonomously
