About the role

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Accounts Co-ordinator to join our finance team. The role is reporting to the CFO and will involve managing Agency Billing, receipting and reconciliation from our policy Administration System. The role will suit someone who has worked for an insurer before and is familiar with brokers’ commission payments.

You will be:

  • Management of unallocated cash including obtaining remittances, reconciliation of payment discrepancies, investigation of payments and invoices
  • Processing broker premium, commission payments and account queries
  • Direct (to consumer) and Agency (via Insurance Brokers) billing and commission payments via TravelCard’s Policy Administration System (PAS)
  • Daily allocation of all debtor receipts via Brokers (Agents) and Credit card billing (Direct customers)
  • Bank reconciliation and Debtors management and reconciliation from PAS to GL

 

About you

  • Background within finance / reconciliations in the insurance industry
  • Experience in dealing with broker accounts and a solid understanding of insurance
  • Ideally you will have completed or be working towards formal accounting qualifications with at least 2 - 3 years’ experience in the Industry
