Dean Newbery is looking for an enthusiastic Accountant to join one of our specialised business services teams and become an integral member of the Firm. A bit about the role...
Everyone at Dean Newbery is integral to the success of the Firm. The vacant Accountant's role is a unique opportunity to join a highly motivated, hardworking and collaborative team.
Working closely with the Partners and Senior Team Members, the role will include:
- Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts
- Preparation and lodgement of quarterly & monthly Business Activity Statements
- Assisting Partners and Senior Team Members with the collation and analysis of client data
- Assisting with technical research
- Liaising with the ATO on behalf of clients
The right person for the role will have:
- An excellent eye for detail
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and general information technology skills
- A unique interest in business and a range of industries
- Willing to work in a small team environment
