Our clients are looking for a Business Services Accountant (Intermediate or possibly a Senior) who has experience completing work from start to finish and who thrives on interaction with clients and a young multi-cultural team environment.

This is a firm offering the opportunity to sit with wealthy family group and business clients and help clients with ALL aspects of their financial affairs. The focus is on doing whatever is needed and this can include interaction with a range of other professionals such as lawyers, banks, ATO etc.  You will be involved in all compliance and consulting matters associated with trusts, companies, property investments inside and outside SMSFs, possibly SMSFs, individual tax. (SMSF experience is not required for the role).

You will be on the phone with clients and you will have the opportunity to attend regular client meetings in the boardroom.

Key Selection Criteria:

• CA or CPA completed will enhance your application
• experience of 3 plus years  including some experience in an Australian accounting practice with exposure to Australian tax and experience.
• good communication skills - verbal and written, good listening - if you have another language you may be able to utilise language skills but good English skills are critical!
• able to work well in a team
• enjoyment of helping and interacting with clients
• eager to learn (lifelong learner) and willing and able to share your learning
• organised and able to meet deadlines
• capacity to learn new software fairly quickly
