With a key member of the finance team heading away on maternity leave, our client requires an experienced Senior Management Accountant to come on board for the next 12 months and take responsibility at a state level, the operational management accountants. An exciting opportunity exists for a highly analytical individual to come on board for the next 12 months and play a leading role within the finance team here in Victoria in a Senior Management Accountant capacity. The successful applicant will demonstrate high levels of integrity and have proven track record with meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure.
Description
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Monthly reconciliation of revenue and costs against forecast
- Updating rolling forecast models
- Assist with the development and compilation of the budget pack
- Working capital management and analysis
- Prepare and calculate commissions for all relevant staff in accordance with their contracts
- Assist with the review and management of state aged debt
Profile
- CA/CPA qualified
- Prior experience working for a complex global organisation
- Prior business partnering experience highly desirable
- Ability to work autonomously and be deadline driven
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
