The Role
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our Business Advisory division.
Working with, and supporting the head of Bookkeeping, you will provide a high level of service, and have immediate exposure to a wide ranging local and international client base. In working with our clients you will also work on a number of different client accounting packages.
Responsibilities
This role will see you performing a range of bookkeeping practices, including:
- Accounts Payable / Receivable
- Preparing monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and other accounts as directed
- Prepare bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
- Business activity statement preparation and reporting
- Payroll preparation
- General office and administration duties including filing and record management
- Monthly reporting
- Respond to internal / external client enquiries in a timely manner
Successful candidates will have the following skills and experience:
- At least 2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in MYOB, Xero and other accounting packages.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills
- Focus on delivering a high level of client service
