A leading Australian company requires a Finance Business Analyst to join their Sydney CBD based team in a permanent capacity.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for accounting and provide specialist financial and trend analysis reporting on business performance.
You will be CA/CPA qualified and have vast financial modelling experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare weekly reports on month-to-date sales performance
• Perform detailed analysis on performance and trend analysis including recommendations on improved efficiency
• Month end accounting and management reporting including reconciliation of general ledger accounts
• Assist in preparing the budget, Five Year Plan and reforecasting.
• Review and audit all complimentary and rebate expenses against approved programs and report on variances
• Pro-actively provide advice and assistance to managers on general financial issues
Key Requirements:
• Degree qualified in Commerce/Finance or related discipline
• Ability to interpret data and information and provide analysis on the business
• Cognos or Business Objectives systems experience is desirable
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Demonstrated experience in providing strategic Finance advisory or consultancy in large organisations
