The Company
Robert Half are currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a reputable organisation, which is a leader within its field and would be a fantastic opportunity to develop your existing skill set. It is an ideal position for an Accountant who enjoys working in a well-rounded role within a fast-paced environment who can work both autonomously and as part of a team.
The role is a 9-12 month temporary role covering maternity leave, based in the Western Suburbs.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager your duties will include:
• Financial reporting
• Statutory reporting
• End to end Payroll function
• Month end cyclical reporting
• Preparing monthly statements
• Analysing and investigating variances
Your Profile
The successful candidate will have a strong and proven background in Financial Accounting with a minimum of 2-3 years experience. The client is looking for a qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting and statutory reporting skills. You will have good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills. Intermediate Excel skills are a must.
Experience working with ERP based systems will be highly regarded.
