The Organisation
The organisation comprises of multiple companies which are a leading force in agricultural fertiliser, minerals and recycled ag products across the eastern seaboard of Australia. The companies have a strategic footprint comprising of 8 business locations serving an area from Adelaide through to Rockhampton.
About the Role
Due to the fast growth of the companies, the office requires an experienced management accountant/book keeper to join the business. Based from the company’s Sydney office in the Eastern Suburbs, the successful candidate will across the multiple businesses and lead the budget forecasting process with the business.
Whilst supported by the office staff in each of the companies, the role is very hands on and will be ultimately responsible for the monthly management reporting, analysis of monthly results and the cost analysis of the production process.
The Candidate
You have Management Accounting experience. You will bring to the role a strong focus in Management Accounting within the agricultural and or manufacturing and processing industry whilst technically minded and enjoy being involved in the Financial Accounting side of the business.
- Management Accounting/ Financial Accounting and Analysis experience
- Working within a similar industry (Agriculture, Minerals Processing, Recycling)
- Account Payable & Receivable – through to end of month P&L
- Accruals and pre-payments
- Bank reconciliation
- Proficient in Managing Inventory
- Driven, focussed and eager to grow within an organisation
- Proficient in Xero accounting software
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Understand application of accounting standards and provisions
- CPA/CMA qualified or part qualified (not essential)
- Experience in CIN7 or other PoS and inventory software would also be beneficial
Salary package would be negotiated with the successful applicant and will be commensurate with relevant experience and knowledge.
