A big four bank is currently hiring a Senior Property Fund / Financial Accountant on a 12 month fixed term basis with the view to go permanent based in the Sydney CBD.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for being the main point of contact in relation to fund performance for Investment Managers and clients. This position will suit candidates with sound fund accounting experience, ideally with exposure to unit trusts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month end reporting
- BAS
- APRA reporting
- Annual investor tax statement process
- Ad-hoc queries from asset managers, clients and custodians
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years fund accounting experience
- Finance/Accounting degree with solid academic results, potentially studying for CPA/CA
- Strong numerical ability and high attention to detail
- Stakeholder engagement experience.
- the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Big four background OR property experience is desirable
