We are looking for an APS 6 Financial Accountant 5 month contract with possible extension - Call Mark 62576344

This Federal Government depart provides a vital service within their industry, to ensure that key objectives are met, maintained and adhered to.

Your new role
This Federal Government department is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled individual to perform tasks inclusive of, but not limited the following:

• Previous experience in preparing financial statements & reporting
• Preparation of month end journals / reconciliations
• Month end financial reporting
• Assist with year end financial reporting
• Asset accounting

What you'll need to succeed
You will be required to have proven success working in a similar role. You must have or be working towards CA or CPA qualifications, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proactive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
This Role is only open to Australian Citizens and you will also need a strong understanding of the guidelines and requirements in which the APS operate.
