Currently recruiting for an experienced projects finance manager to joining a leading bank and employer of choice in Australia, with an excellent track record of performance and growth.
About the role
The ideal candidate will have proven experience providing end to end project financial support, analysis, financial reporting, and modelling. They must also enjoy managing and fostering relationships with business stakeholders, and team members. This position has become available through some recent internal promotions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all the financial treatments are in adherence to the Group accounting policy and guidelines and Project Governance methodologies.
- Providing financial update to relevant stakeholders inclusive of forward-looking insights
- Maintaining and updating forecast models to accurately represent projects trajectory.
- Continuous improvement of analytics, month-end, projection and reporting processes to deliver enhanced outcomes.
- Providing ad-hoc analysis on the financial performance of the business.
- Working collaboratively across all finance teams to ensure analysis is insightful and aligned when presented through different lenses.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationship with finance counterparts, Project/Program Managers, IT, PMO and wider stakeholders
About you
- CA or CPA qualification or equivalent
- Experience using COGNOS, ORACLE and TM1 are highly desirable
- Capability to manipulate and pull large data into insightful reporting
- Experience with financial services and financial accounting industry
