The Company

You will be working for a national retail organisation who pride themselves on their fun, social and inclusive culture. Due to the new financial year and budget approval, there is a current need in their Sydney office for an Accounts Receivable officer for 6 months, with potential in the future for an ongoing contract or a permanent position.

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

• Daily/periodic Invoicing - process invoices upon receipt of relevant invoice request
• Receipt of patient/customer - process cheque payments, credit card, eftpos transactions and direct deposits
• Daily banking - reconciling and verifying receipts
• Tasking, accepting deposits & receipting
• Investigating and rectify rejection
• Investigating and organising refunds
• Reconciliation of revenue receipts
• Processing monthly journals

About You

Proven experience in an Accounts role in a large business is desirable for this role. You will be committed to working as part of the team, and have a fantastic proactive nature and a can-do attitude.

• At least 2 years’ experience in an AR environment
• Excellent communication skills - internal and external
• Be able to hit the ground running in a high volume environment
• Highly organised and be able to work to deadlines
• Able to work independently and also enjoy working in a team
