The Company
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Reconciliations Officer to join an instantly recognisable organisation, based in Melbourne’s CBD. The Reconciliations Officer will join a wider Accounts Payable and Bank Reconciliations team, responsible for high volume bank reconciliations using SAP. Their impressive and modern office space is in an enviable location in Melbourne’s CBD, close to public transport.
The Role
The Reconciliations Officer will report directly into the Accounts Payable and Reconciliations Manager, the main duties of this role will include:
- High volume bank reconciliations using SAP
- Administering banking payments and receipting functions
- Preparation and validation of financial transactions
- Identify areas of weakness and contribute towards process improvement
Your Profile
To be considered for this role you must have strong reconciliation experience, ideally using SAP and experience with online banking portals. Exposure to an automated bank reconciliation system would be advantageous. You will have excellent attention to detail, be able to adapt to new ways of working and not be afraid to use initiative to resolve queries and improve processes. You must enjoy working in a fast paced and varied environment and have excellent communication skills.
