About the role
A significant opportunity has arisen to represent the Divy brand in a major blue chip client for an Accounts Payable Officer to join on a fulltime basis.
What is the primary objective for this position? (Roles and Responsibilities)
- Day to day running and data entry of the Accounts Payable / must be hands on and meet daily deadlines
- Able to Analysis and offer suggestions for steam lining and approving efficiency within the Accounts Payable
- Day to day answering all incoming calls for the whole business
- Day to day running of the office : Amenities / Kitchen / Warehouse but not limited
- Preparation of weekly and end of month accounts payable payment runs for the Accountant to review prior to Fridays payment run and month end.
- Review all supplier invoices with the relevant company authorities prior to entering into the MYOB system
- Daily filing and office assistant to the Financial controller a nd Accountant
- Prepare and analyse weekly creditors and costing reports
- Daily banking and post office responsibilities
- Assist the Financial Controller and Accountant with their day to day task
- Tertiary qualifications in accountancy and / or at least 10 year's experience in accountancy / clerical based duties
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel , Word and MYOB.
- Knowledge of Deputy " time management system" would be an advantage
- Experience in a similar role in a small/medium size firm is preferable.
