As a leader in their industry this successful organisation based in the Hills District now needs to appoint an experienced and motivated individual to take on the vital role of Accountant.

Reporting to the CFO, the Accountant will be responsible for month end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and managing a small team, additionally, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of BAS/FBT, Payroll tax
• Tracking of Bank Guarantees, securities, bond and cash retention
• Follow up ageing Accounts Receivable
• Preparing journals and accruals
• Prepare and update Prepayment for insurance or workers compensation
• Assist in Audit and Statutory preparation
• Daily Cash flow
• Review Payroll clearing, superannuation, worker's compensation, payroll tax
• Perform accrued wages on quarterly basis to ensure matching of expenses to revenue
• Intercompany account reconciliations
• Streamlining AP systems and process improvement

To be considered for this role you will have:

• A proven track record in a similar role
• At least 5-7 years' experience as a Senior Accountant within a corporate environment
• Be CPA or CA qualified
• Experience in Cost/Manufacturing highly desirable
• Analytically minded with a high attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously in achieving goals
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Have experience in major ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics
