An opportunity is available for the successful candidate to join a young and energetic accounting firm in the Western Suburb of Melton.
The practice has experienced solid growth over the last number of years and we have created this position to service increase in demand.
This is your opportunity to join a small friendly accounting firm that work together to deliver above average service and advice to clients. The candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with the client and the director of the firm gaining invaluable experience to help develop there accounting and professional skills. The successful candidate will ideally have 2-3 years’ experience in tax and public practice accounting including:
- Preparation of BAS and IAS statements,
- Preparation of individual tax returns,
- Preparation of Sole Trader, Partnership, Trust and Company financial accounts and income tax returns,
- Preparation of PAYG Payment summaries,
- Proficient in products such as MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks,
- Studying or completed their CPA or CA qualification.
Candidates with experience in the use of Handisoft will be highly regarded.
The candidate will have exceptional interpersonal, time management and communication skills along with a can-do attitude that will foster positive business relationships whilst engaging with business clients and other staff members. The candidate with have exceptional verbal and written English skills.
The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team whilst completing all aspects of the accounting function to a high level. Attention to detail is a must.
Remuneration will be based on the experience of the candidate.
