My client is a financial services organisation that operates globally with Head Quarters based in Sydney. They are seeking a certified Financial Accountant to start with them immediately for an initial 4-month contract.
You will be supporting the finance team in month end reporting, statutory accounting, and taxation compliance, providing accurate and timely financial reporting for all internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities include -
- Assisting with year-end procedures including liaising with external auditors
- Assisting with the audit process
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to achieve and deliver desired outcomes
- Supporting the finance manager and senior financial accountant in year-end close
- Ad-hoc finance tasks
Desirable -
- CPA/CA qualification
- Experience in assisting with audit procedure
- Min. 3 years of financial accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Can start immediately
