The Pricing Analyst will play a leading role in the design, implementation, evaluation, and administration of pricing strategies. You will enrich the intelligence the company uses to enhance pricing so that it aligns with customer's perceptions of value and corporate objectives.

Description

• Carry out pricing analysis (quantitative and qualitative) on existing and new tenders, and draft and review relevant documents in a timely manner.
• Develop, maintain and use pricing and feasibility analysis models and quotation database.

• Support the Senior Finance Manager to ensure pricing meets corporate profitability targets and relevant corporate and regulatory standards, including required quality documentation.

• Support the Senior Finance Manager on assessing pricing structures and benefit designs for new products, and proposed product variations, and reinsurance terms.

• Meet delivery dates for pricing deliverables.

• Compile and maintain case files on scheme pricing decisions and assumptions.

• Maintain good working knowledge of the relevant product and regulatory environment in Australia.

• Consult with underwriters, lawyers and claims managers where necessary to support the above.

• Share knowledge and skills with actuaries and other staff.

Profile

• Bachelor degree in business, finance, engineering, statistics or other analytical discipline. Masters’ a plus.

• 3 years work experience in an analytical role

• Analytically strong: Structure and execute analysis of disparate data to uncover answers to questions and insights.

• Technology savvy: Advanced/expert using Excel, Proficiency using PowerPivot, Access, PowerPoint, & Basic SQL
