About the Role:
  
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Finance Function for a Senior Financial Accountant reporting to our Finance Supervisor. The role will be in the Service / Parts team with a Service focus.
  
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure financial transactions are completed in accordance with accounting requirements
• Preparation and Analysis of general ledger reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner
• Assist in interpretation and analysis of operational data
• Provide financial advisory services to the business
• Monthly reviews of business sales, cost of sales and direct expenses and follow up on anomalies
• Review and authorize EFT and cheque payments within required authorisation
• Assist with audit review process

  
About You
  
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business
• CA or CPA qualification
• Minimum 5 years financial accounting experience within a large & diverse organisation
• Analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines with competing priorities
• Excellent problem solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and interpreter large volumes of data
• High level of motivation and confidence with strong interpersonal skills
• Advanced understanding of all accounting standards
• Previous experience providing advice on accounting and management queries
• Strong Business Partnering with ability to translate financial concepts to operational staff
