The Role
Reporting to the head of finance and supported by a more junior professional, you will be charged with all things accounting - financial and management reporting, tax, compliance, audit liaison, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, banking, reconciliations, and ad hoc work as assigned.  You will interact regularly with divisional management, executive leaders, and external parties on behalf of the firm.  You will also keep up to date with new legislation and author technical papers as required.  Running clean audits and timely & accurate reporting is expected on a continuous basis to a high standard.   You will have the opportunity to improve processes and systems based on your skills and experience with best practice.

About You
Ideally you have been trained in an accounting firm covering small private companies and some medium sized groups that are highly regulated.  You have a further 1-3 years experience in a commercial organisation doing the hands on accounting work.  A relevant post graduate qualification (CA/CPA/CIMA) is strongly preferred due to the technical knowledge essential to your success.  You have a strong track record in continuous process improvement, a history of timely and accurate reporting, and have effective communication skills - tailoring the key commercial outcomes to executives.
