Hi! We're Rex Labs – a young, fun technology company in the heart of Newstead.

We're looking for a new accounts and bookkeeping clerk to help take our growing team to the next level. We'd love to speak to you if you have fantastic communication skills, an eye for detail, and love numbers. This is a great way to get your foot in the door of a technology company operating in one of the fastest growing industries in the world.

This full-time role is critical to our success. You'll be working directly with senior management to make a real difference to our business, and the businesses of each of our clients. Your salary is dependant on your skill level and experience.

Your responsibilities:

• Accounts receivable

• Accounts payable

• Payroll and superannuation

• Bank and credit card reconciliations

• Handling customer invoicing queries over the phone or email

• Tax  and payment compliance

• Assist in preparation of financial reports and analysis

• Manual Journal entries

• Other admin tasks as required (filing etc.)

The ideal candidate:

• Strong communication skills with excellent spoken / written English

• Strong time management skills / ability to multitask and meet deadlines

• Strong problem solving skills with high attention to detail

• Great initiative and get up and go attitude

• Outgoing, enthusiastic and keen to work in a fast pace environment

• A bachelor's degree (or working towards) in Accounting (or associated discipline) with intention to undertake CA / CPA program

• Previous bookkeeping / accounts experience and familiarity with Xero highly regarded
