Compliance and Reporting Officer - 11267

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced permanent full time Compliance and Reporting Officer to join the Ethics, Integrity and Audit, based in the Finance Governance and Risk business unit.

The purpose of this position is to ensure Council is compliant with its administrative legislative responsibilities and to contribute to the establishment, implementation and review of annual compliance assurance program ensuring effective governance frameworks, policies and systems to improve organisational governance across Council.

 

About you

 

  1. Previous experience developing and implementing operating procedures, management plans, and evaluating technical and financial data.
  2. Strong analytical experience preparing, conducting and reviewing compliance returns in a complex regulatory environment.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills to engage effectively with line management and employees.
  4. Demonstrable time management, prioritisation, organisation and problem solving skills to meet regular and concurrent deadlines.
  5. Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and corporate business systems.
  6. Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
