Your new company 

An exciting opportunity to join an industry leading building service organisation based in the city fringe. This role requires someone who can be a leader; leading a team of 2 and running a fortnightly payroll for over 1200 employees. 

Your new role 

Processing fortnightly payroll for over 1,200 employees and managing 2 other payroll officers. 

You'll be responsible for:

• Managing a team of 2 payroll officers to ensure efficiency and proficiency
• Fortnightly processing including time-sheet entry, calculations and review
• Lodgements for Payroll Tax, Superannuation, Kiwi Saver, PAYE and PAYG payments
• Ability to assist with integration of new systems (mapping)
• Payroll filing of personal information

About You

You'll have 3-5 years' experience working in high volume payroll and be a passionate and professional individual who is looking to take the next step in their career to further grow and develop their leadership skills.

You'll have the ability to lead and take ownership of the role with a willing attitude to learn and grow through training and experience. 

Your strong team focus, problem solving, high attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills will ensure your success in this role. 

Qualifications in Payroll Management would be an advantage. If you have used the Payroll System Preceda that would be a high advantage.
