Our client is a high growth, entrepreneurial group within the technology/ marketing/ property/ retail space with over 500 sites across Australia, New Zealand and the UK as well as affiliations in Singapore, Malaysia and Japan.

Having recently been acquired by a major Japanese market leader, they are looking to continue their significant investment in technology across their existing network as well as new site acquisitions.

As a result of a senior member of the team taking extended leave , we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join the team for three months, potentially longer. There is also the possibility of a permanent role becoming available for the successful candidate.

The role will involve running the statutory audit and preparing the quarterly financial statements for their Japanese parent company. They are fast approaching their June year end and have numerous other overseas reporting requirements too. Whilst there are no staff reporting in to this role, you will liaise with the various members of the finance team who business partner with each of the States and bring the financials together for the external auditors.

In addition, you will take charge of the BAS and GST returns, again liaising with the external auditors for tax purposes.

We are looking for a highly skilled, CA/CPA qualified finance professional with significant financial accounting and statutory reporting experience from a medium sized, complex business.

Previous exposure to Finance One ERP systems would be beneficial.
