A successful, well established wholesale business is seeking an experienced Financial Controller who is results driven and has previous experience lead a finance function and partnering with GM's in a FMCG or Retail environment, or similar.
Role Overview
Reporting to the CEO the successful candidate will take full ownership for the financial management, planning and forecasting process of this multi-branded business.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Mentor and lead a team (6)
- Manage the end to end finance function
- Managing all cyclical reporting; Deliver reports at Board Level
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process
- Coach internal stakeholders at all levels on financial data/reporting
- Ad-hoc analysis and strategic support
Your Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
- CA/CPA qualified with a solid background in a commercial environment
- Financial accounting and/or management accounting background preferred
- Inventory and cost accounting experience/knowledge required
- Experience in management of multi-currency environment
- Strong understanding of processes and reporting
- Strong people skills and forward thinking
