Our client is an Employer of choice and one of the leading Financial Services Groups in Australia. They are currently embarking on the implementation of a new enterprise wide HR system. As such they require a hands-on Project Manager or Lead Business Analyst with an accounting / finance background to drive the finance stream of the project.
Key deliverables will include:
- Planning, development and implementation of project plan
- Stakeholder Management and Communication
- Requirements Analysis and Lifecycle Management
- Definition, elicitation, prioritisation and validation of requirements and design of business processes
- Defining with the SME's the ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ processes
- Key input into the completion of the Finance Requirements, Business Process Specifications and/or System Functional / Non Functional Specifications that will drive the desired change to business process, system enhancement / development activities
- Reviewing and revising documentation in light of any new information and/or changes to initial assumptions.
- Project Management
- Supporting testing, training and implementation activities to ensure the successful delivery of the overall business and technology solutions.
This is a great opportunity to join one of the largest finance transformation teams in the financial services market and will open up the opportunity to become permanent or to roll onto other major programs within the group.
Required skills and experience:
- CA/CPA/CIMA Qualified Accountant
- Financial Services background (ideally banking)
- Project management experience within the finance arena
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a senior business analyst focused on finance projects, finance transformation or finance stream of major projects
- Project Management qualification
- Exposure to Agile methodology would be advantageous
