In this role, you will be working in our Melbourne office with a team of experienced auditors, your position reports to the Senior Audit Manager (Commercial).

Purpose of the Job:

Assist the Senior Auditors and the Audit Managers in developing and executing the recovery audit plan, and take a lead role in the day to day execution of the recovery audit scopes. To do this you must be able to work independently, analyzing AR and AP data, comparing prices charged by suppliers to our clients to ensure that they are in accordance with contractual arrangements. It is expected that the right candidate will have excellent time management skills and a proven record in managing their own productivity. The successful candidate will also have a proven track record of multi-tasking in their previous roles which will enable them to assist and supervise our off-shore Auditors.  

Primary Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Fluent in using Excel independently. Previous experience in pricing and contract reviews will be considered
  • Supervise and assist the work of assigned personnel from off-shore.
  • Liaise with clients in regards to data acquisition and all other audit preparation task.
  • Prepare and implement plans and techniques that ensure timely and profitable conduct of audit assignments.
  • Develop objectives and strategies aimed at achieving client satisfaction and maximum economic benefit using clients systems and resources.
  • Preparation and presentation of regular client Management reports which help develop solutions to clients systems.
  • Prepare and present periodic Project / Audit Status Reports for management and clients recommending proposals to revise current methods and procedures.
  • Interface regularly with client/supplier personnel to ensure relationships are created and maintained.
  • Provide on-the-job training and performance appraisal of assigned personnel.
  • Achieve and maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
  • Display effective team leadership
  • Participate in opening meetings with client to explain the scope and objectives of the audit engagement to client and provide an overview of all steps in the audit process
