The Business
 Our client is an Australian owned leading FMCG business. Through strong leadership and well developed strategies they have been revolutionising their industry and have been continuing to grow and capitalise on their success. With an excellent reputation in their industry and due to high performance they are continuously expanding their operations across Australia. As a result of this exceptional growth they are on the market for a Finance Analyst to join their team on an initial 7 month contract.
  
The Role
As the Finance Analyst you will be a vital part of the Finance team. They will be accountable for providing financial analyse in order to assist in critical decision making for the wider business. Reporting directly to the Commercial Finance Manager your responsibilities will include but aren’t limited to:

• Business partnering with multiple stakeholders including Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations.
• Generate strong commercial insights for operational leaders
• Ownership of the budgeting, forecasting and analysis for revenue streams
• Preparation of monthly financial and management reports
• Work closely with the NPD team in order to develop financial targets for New Product Development portfolio.
• Financial analysis that identifies key opportunities for business improvement 
• Accurate and timely monthly rolling forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash flow)
• Ad-hoc analysis as required.

Profile
The successful applicant will be:

• Available to start immediately
• CA/CPA qualified
• Have experience working in a similar role within the FMCG industry
• Have a sound technical accounting background coupled with financial variance analysis experience.
• You will possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

As this is a temporary contract you must be immediately available or have a maximum notice period of 1 week. Candidates in a permanent role with a 4 week notice period will not be considered.
