A fantastic position working for a large FMCG business who are looking for a commercially astute finance professional. You will be a key leader within your business unit and be a key partner to senior executives and leading a team to obtain the most commercially focused output for the division.
Reporting to the Head of the division, you will be responsible for providing commercial expertise to the business with a focus on strategic planning, analysis and business partnering. More specifically, your role will include but not limited to:
- Support operations through the provision of effective management information and analysis
- Analysis of product line & category performance
- Trade spend analysis
- Drive strategic initiatives to ensure revenue and profit growth
- Financial models to support business cases
- Monitoring of major projects
- Identify risk and opportunities
- Development of customer pricing models and profitability analysis
- Spearhead process improvements across both operations and finance
- Management of a small team
With experience of working in a fast paced, consumer goods or highly commercial and customer-orientated environment, you will be an expert at providing financial insight to drive revenue growth. You will have the confidence and intellectual rigour to challenge a wide range of senior financial and non-financial stakeholders and have genuine board room presence.
In addition, you will be a natural business partner with;
- CA/CPA qualified within a Big4 or Chartered environment
- 5+ years in Financial planning, analysis and reporting experience
- Excellent presentation skills
- Customer orientation and focus
- Ability to Interact and communicate effectively with the Senior Leadership team
- Willingness to be hands on yet promote strategic thinking
- Experience of working in a multinational company in FMCG or similar industry.
- Experience with SAP or large ERP essential
