My client is a dynamic design studio with offices in Melbourne's CBD.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Finance Director the finance manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of 3, covering AP/AR, project accounting and financial accounting.
The finance manager will be responsible for managing monthly financial reporting, preparing budgets and forecasts for the shared services areas including marketing and IT, while also overseeing preparation of the statutory accounts, reviewing payroll and managing relationships with tax accountants and auditors.
The role will be suited to a finance manager who is confident in their ability to speak publicly, lead a team. The incumbent will be required to build and maintain key relationships with non-financial stakeholders and present monthly to senior board members on project success while updating forecasts accordingly.
The Person
An ambitious accountant with a hands-off management style combined with a hands on approach to daily operations will be required for this position.
