Our client is a family owned, expanding product supply business, servicing the civil construction and traffic industry. Their wide range of products and services include: safety equipment, signage, work wear, electronic warning equipment, vehicle fabrication etc.

Over the past few years the company has grown to a stage that they are now looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, hands-on qualified Financial Controller to join the team.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director and being part of the Management Team, the Financial controller is responsible for the accounting operations of the company and managing a small, dedicated team of accounts and payroll officers, while also overseeing the general office management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day management of the accounts and admin team
- Month end and preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Manage and oversee payroll
- Manage and oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable
- Manage cash flow and credit controls
- Statutory obligations including BAS, superannuation, payroll tax and Workcover
- Financial year end preparation
- Manage and keep up to date internal systems, procedures and record keeping
Your Profile
We are looking for a hands-on professional with strong leadership skills. You will be able to hit the ground running, be a good communicator with strong analytical skills and have a high attention to detail.

Your Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in finance / accounting
- CPA or CA qualified
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated team leadership, utilising strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Efficient in time management and organising work
- Flexible and able to deal with change in a dynamic work environment
