An ASX300 company requires a CFO for it's head office based in Sydney CBD. This is a standalone role therefore the successful candidate should be able to hit the ground running. The company is an ASX listed public company therefore experience with ASX reporting is paramount to the role.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing the full function and systems of the Company, both local and overseas subsidiaries, to ensure high quality and timely delivery of financial reporting. Including:
Preparation of Half yearly and Annual Audited Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS and AASB,
Preparation of ASX Reports,
Preparation of Monthly Management Reports and Presentation to the Board,
Preparation of Annual Budgets & Cash Flows,
Supervision of accounting functions,
Arranging finance facilities and dealing with banks,
Involvement with management meetings, providing input and advice;
- Manage day to day accounting, treasury, reporting, and tax functions (FBT returns, BAS, payroll tax and group tax returns) locally and overseas;
- Manage and drive the Company accounting, financial and business processes and procedures;
- Responsibility for the integrity of financial procedure, processes and methodology used throughout the organisation
- Play a key role in developing and implementing Company business strategies and equity structuring;
- Tax knowledge is highly sought after, ideally to ensure all tax compliance is completed within the Group;
- Assisting with the group Insurance policy;
- Manage the Company’s relationships with external auditors, regulatory bodies and bank financiers;
- Providing adhoc analysis to drive business decisions and support the Board of Directors
Ideally the successful candidate will be CA/CPA Qualified with around 5 -10 years’ of experience.
The role requires a candidate that displays and maintains a proactive attitude, strong communication, negotiation, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
