TwoScots are delighted to partner with an innovative, prestigious client based in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. Due to the growth of the business and continuous evolution within the industry and to maintain its forward looking & innovative approach, they have a requirement for an ambitious Finance Manager to join their journey and help drive future changes.
The role has a good balance of technical accounting and business partnering and will see you partnering with key stakeholders both internally and externally. The company prides itself on providing a top-quality service to their client base, this quality flows through to the Finance Department.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Managing, mentoring & developing a high performing team
- Driving improvements to processes that will streamline reporting & systems
- Transactional support for the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts, cash flow management, annual audit and statutory accounts preparation and satisfying most regulatory reporting and requirements
- Analysis of actual vs forecasted/budgeted figures and reporting every month
- Completion of the Tax obligations - BAS, FBT, GST
- Treasury management
- Liaising with stakeholders both internal & external
To be suitable for this role you must meet the following criteria:
- CA/CPA qualifies with 3-5 years’ experience
- Must have experience within Audit/Chartered environment
- Significant management experience of a medium sized team
- Advanced Excel skills and an aptitude for systems, both ERP & Payroll
- Disciplined in meeting tight deadlines
- Ability to identify, recommend and implement improvements in process and reporting
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
