About the role

You will need to be enthusiastic, a problem solver, self-motivated and willing to be accountable for your work, with no job being too big or too small.

Professionally presented at all times, you will need to be strong in both written and spoken English as the role involves liaising with suppliers, debt collection and presenting reports to management.

Responsibilities include:

  • End to end accounts Payable and Receivable functions
  • Weekly payroll
  • Preparation of P&L and monthly bank reconciliation
  • Month end financial and management reports
  • Maintain financial files and records
  • Compliance with internal/external reporting
  • Preparing and lodging BAS
  • Supplier ordering
  • Processing Sales invoices and Supplier invoices
  • Ensuring Invoices, Account Statements and Customer enquiries are sent, dealt with and managed in all aspects
  • Support the corporate team to update and improve existing systems and processes
  • Provide executive team with required financial/business reports accurately and on-time
  • Stock takes and reconciliation to General Ledger
  • Assist in other office tasks as necessary
  • All administrative work for this role, including filing, photocopying, scanning and assisting with answering calls.

Skills and experience:

  • 2-3+ years of local accounting experience post qualifying.
  • Experience Xero (Accounting system), Work Flow Max and Exsalerate. (experience in these 3 programs isn't essiential. 
  • High level Excel and reporting/analysis capabilities
  • Passionate problem solver with the ability to resolve executive team queries and issues
  • Able to work under pressure and with conflicting priorities
  • A rigorous and meticulous work style with impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills internally & externally
  • Good command of both spoken and written English is required
  • You will be highly ethical, complying with best-practice in both accounting professional standards and personal conduct; particularly with particular value on ideals of truth, candour and honesty.
