The Company
Robert Half are recruiting on behalf of a well-known and established manufacturing company headquartered in Wollongong. Located close to the train they offer a great working culture and a supportive, close-knit team including Friday night drinks. Due to an increase in workload they are looking for a hardworking and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join them with an immediate start. This role will be a temporary position for 1 month.
The Role
As the successful candidate you will report directly into a friendly and approachable Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager. You will perform a full function role for your own division of the business. On a day to day basis you will process a high volume of invoices, perform weekly payment runs, bank and supplier reconciliations and prepare General Journals. This is a fast-paced role that will require high levels of accuracy and a positive attitude.
Your Profile
The ideal applicant will have the following attributes:
- Previous experience in full function Accounts Payable
- Previous experience using a large ERP
- High attention to detail
- Available immediately
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team
