We’re an accounting and financial services practice in West Perth/Northbridge, offering solutions to our growing client base via Consulting, Accounting, Tax, Finance, Investment and Legal advice.

An opportunity is available for a full-time Intermediate Accountant, to do complex bookkeeping works and schedule and review the work of our Management Accounting team which provides the following services to our clients: 

• Accounts reconciliations including general ledger, bank accounts and credit cards;
• Preparing and submitting BAS and PAYG;
• Processing payrolls and maintaining employee records;
• Producing monthly balance sheets and P&L statements;
• Cashflow budgeting and reporting;
• Month-end compliance and reporting.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce;
• 5+ years management accounting experience;
• Competency with Xero and MYOB software;
• Ability to work independently and take initiative, but also be an enthusiastic team player;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Leadership/supervision skills;
• Workflow and time management skills;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines;
• High level of dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation;
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.

Desirable:

• Experience working in public practice;
• BAS Agent registration.
