Do work that matters
The Fund Services team is involved in all areas across the Wrap business and as such, each member of the team will need to be adaptable to a variety of different tasks and be flexible to accommodate peak periods. You will be required to maintain the general ledger for superfunds/IDPS funds and manage the preparation of monthly reconciliation files and other regulatory reporting.

Colonial First State Wrap (CFS Wrap) is part of Colonial First State and is a leading platform and portfolio administration services provider. This is provided through its retail brand, First Wrap and also to a number of white and private label wrap providers.
CFS Wrap is part of the Wealth Management division of CBA that brings together the Group’s funds management and distribution capability as well as domestic insurance and financial advice business support divisions.
In any given week you will
- Reconcile bank accounts, clearing outstanding items where applicable
- Complete monthly balance files with accurate reconciliations of all general ledger accounts
- Timely and accurate completion of Business Activity Statements (BAS)
- Complete APRA returns on a quarterly and annual basis
- Complete income tax returns for superannuation funds, validating data
- Assist in the internal and external audit process
- Comply with risk management policies and procedures, attending compliance training when required
- Train and supervise junior staff members

We’re interested in hearing from people who
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline e.g. business, accounting
- Completion of CA or CPA or currently progressing towards
- 5+ years' accounting experience
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Exposure to superannuation and tax law and understanding of the financial services industry
- Exposure to and use of a relevant accounting system
- The ability to meet deadlines and objectives in a busy, commercial environment
