Our client is a well established, leading Australian financial services multinational with a strong track record of performance. This position has become available through some recent growth.
About the role
They are seeking a switched on Financial Manager who has extensive experience providing decision support to senior executives and ability to build strong working relationships across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the Senior Management to meet the management reporting requirements for the group
- Partner with and build strong relationships with senior business and finance stakeholders to ensure that key initiatives remain in line with regulatory requirements and stay on track
- Develop and maintain financial models and business cases
- Maintain and update forecast models to accurately represent the business.
- Ensure that the integrity of monthly financial and management accounting processes is maintained
- Head the orchestration of monthly management reports in line with ASX and company reporting standards
- Provide Ad-hoc analysis on the financial performance of the business
- Train and coach junior team members
About you
The ideal candidate must have strong experience with not only analytical and problem-solving roles but also with managing and fostering relationships with business stakeholders, clients and team members.
In addition to this you will have:
- 6+ year of experience in finance
- Working knowledge of wealth management is a must
- CA, CPA or CFA qualification or equivalent
- Advanced Microsoft suite, excel, analytical and modelling knowledge
- Capability to manipulate and pull large data into insightful reporting
