The Client Coverage Group leads relationship management and client strategy for institutional clients and partners and Institutional Banking & Market (IB&M) product teams in the delivery of the Bank’s capabilities.

The Client Coverage Group operates in seven industry ‘verticals’: Natural Resources; Financial Institutions; Real Estate; Industrials and Logistics; Telco, Media, Entertainment, Technology and Retail; Health, Education and Government; and Infrastructure. It also includes the Transaction Banking Solutions team which is responsible for delivering new business opportunities as well as retaining existing business from our transaction banking product offering

The IB&M Finance Client Coverage team is responsible for Business analytics, performance reporting, financial support and production of valued insights for the divisional heads. We aim to partner with the Business to help them drive their strategy with a strong Finance capability. 

Do work that matters

The role is responsible for providing support around all aspects of reporting and analytics relating to the Client Coverage Group. The successful candidate can expect to be involved in client revenue analytics and insights, expense analysis, business spotlight strategy papers, management reporting and forecasting. Responsibilities will include:

• Producing timely and accurate client level reporting and analysis for the IB&M Client Coverage business
• Engage and build relationships with Relationship Bankers (including offshore bankers) in providing awareness and understanding of inputs and end to end processes
• Problem solving, answering client related queries/issues raised by the business, in a timely manner
• Partner with the business to ensure appropriate pricing decisions are made.
• Involvement in business strategy papers and exposure through Industry team meeting
• Work with the business to deliver regular detailed forecasts, and drive the annual planning process

We’re interested in hearing from people who have

• A relevant professional qualification (CA, CPA ) or graduate studies in Business, Finance preferable
• Knowledge of the Financial Services industry and IB&M products preferable
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service and delivering quality outcomes
• Strong excel and Powerpoint skills
• Ability to summarise key insights
• Proactive questioning approach to help make a difference within the team
• Strong time management/organisation skills
• Analytical skills and a passion for continuous improvement
