CLIENT
Our client, a well known player within the community services field, is seeking a permanent Payroll Officer to join their small close-knit team.

As part of this team of 3 in Payroll, in a buzzing and busy environment of 2000+ staff, you will be responsible for the end to end Payroll function, from setting up new starters to processing terminations

ROLE
Reporting into the Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

• Entering new starters
• Processing terminations
• Investigating and processing pay enquires – award or shift related
• Processing ad-hoc pay runs
• Maintaining & Auditing employee payroll information
• Ad-hoc reporting for employees, managers and government departments
• Maintaining employee roster changes
• Reviewing timesheets and providing feedback on issues

CANDIDATE
To be considered for this role, you will possess:

• previous experience in a similar payroll role of a similar size
• previous experience using Time Target and/or Pay Global
• prior knowledge of award interpretation, shifts and allowances
• strong time management skills
• the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
