The Opportunity
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing reporting analysis, developing new reporting templates, budget and forecast management, bid preparation and addition financial analyst duties. This role will be an integral member of our busy finance team, supporting our Abt Australia and Abt Britain offices as well as our multiple programs across the Asia Pacific region. Reporting into our Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, this is an opportunity to build your career in corporate finance whilst gaining exposure to our domestic and global operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare monthly financial reports for review by the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis
• Maintain budget and forecast data tables
• Provide financial costing and analysis for business development activities
• Extract data from financial management system
• Maintain cash flow forecast model
• Prepare ad hoc reports
• Support the quarterly forecasting process
• All other duties as specified in the Terms of Reference
Key Requirements
• Post graduate qualifications in Accounting or equivalent qualification
• At least 2 years relevant post graduate experience (preferably in Corporate business environment)
• Big 4 first time mover out of a corporate finance team will be highly advantageous although not essential
• Intermediate to strong Excel skills
• Good communication skills, aptitude and flexibility
• Excellent stakeholder engagement
