Your new role
With the new Financial year in full swing, we have noticed an increased demand for excellent Accounts Payable Officers looking for their next temporary contract with immediate starts. You will be responsible for the high volume, end to end process of accounts payable, duties will include but are not limited to;
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Maintaining historical records
- Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing pay checks
- Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll have previous experience within a high volume Accounts Payable environment, be systems savvy, have excellent communication skills, and have the ability to come in and pick up new processes quickly. You'll enjoy a challenge, possess strong Microsoft excel skills, and enjoy the opportunity to learn about a new organisation. Experience with systems such as SAP, Finance 1, Empower, Navision, Tech 1, or Green tree are not essential but desirable.
