The Company
A global leading IT Company with one of the strongest household names in their field are looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team on a temp to perm basis IMMEDIATELY.
The Role
The main priority of this role will to report timely and accurately to the Company Accountant to help ensure achievement of financial goals.
You will be responsible for helping with the following:
- Transactional processing and general ledger work.
- Invoicing/ Receipting/ Billing
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Processing of customer invoices, general ledger
- Assisting with monthly reporting
- Providing backup support to other finance staff as required
- Resolving and responding to queries
- Payroll and Tax experience
- Ad hoc duties as required by the business
Your Background
To be considered for this role you must have at least had a couple of years Financial/ Accounting experience, be working towards CA/CPA qualification MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN MYOB. You must be self motivated and possess excellent time management, organisational and analytical skills in order to come in and provide support throughout the accounts function.
