About Us

Infinite Aged Care is a leading aged care provider in the Australian market.  The group has five residential aged care facilities in Adelaide and two currently under construction in Queensland.  We employ over 550 people in South Australian and Queensland.  Infinite Aged Care is fast growing a footprint through the rest of Australia and is in a rapid growth stage with over 900 beds planned to be delivered in greenfield sites soon.  It is an exciting growth phase for the business and fun place to be! 

We are committed to becoming one of the leading quality service providers in aged care and are expanding our finance team to enable the business to achieve this vision.  We require a driven and motivated Accountant in our Bundall head office to support the Group Accountant and Group Financial Controller. The position is offered on a full-time basis and will be based at Bundall. 

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Month end reconciliations including bank recs, revenue journals, prepayments, accruals, asset registers, payroll and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of BAS, and assisting with other tax returns such as FBT & income tax
  • Reconciliation of intercompany loans and processing intercompany transactions
  • Maintaining timely and accurate project reporting for construction projects
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements and compliance returns as required
  • Providing back up and support to accounts payable as required
  • Other ad-hoc processing and reporting tasks as required

About You 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant Bachelor Degree in Commerce or similar and completed CPA/CA or studying towards
  • At least two years' experience in a similar role. Experience in a large, multi-site, multi-entity corporate organisation is an advantage
  • Be driven and motivated with a can-do attitude with an ability to build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Sound financial and analytical skills
  • Experience with ERP systems as advantage
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel
  • Ability to effectively time manage large volume work load, to meet deadlines and work well under pressure situations
  • A team player that can hit the ground running
  • Aged care industry experience highly regarded but not essential
