Recently we have had some wonderful people join our Team and unfortunately we've had a couple move on, so we are in search of a few more.
We are a well established professional Bookkeeping business in Gungahlin and have numerous positions available for Experienced Bookkeepers. The positions offer a great variety of work, which will keep you challenged.
The successful applicant/s will be a mature person with:-
- Demonstrated experience assisting small to medium-sized businesses with all aspects of bookkeeping, in accordance with relevant Australian Tax and BAS legislation;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Experience in a busy office dealing with sensitive material;
- An empathetic, committed and trustworthy character;
- Office administration capabilities and IT savvy
Skills and Education Qualifications:-
- Minimum Cert IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting;
- A minimum of 5 years' bookkeeping experience, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, preparation of BAS reports
- Knowledge of NES and experience with processing Payroll and Superannuation
- You must be proficient in using Xero and/or MYOB; and be able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of either accounting system
- Experience and knowledge of other accounting systems, including QuickBooks and Reckon would be an advantage
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and Word.

- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- Must be able to work autonomously without supervision, as well as within a team;
- Able to prioritise, multi-task and have the ability to work on various jobs in succession;
- Polite, respectful and a sense of humour;
- Conscious of time management and client billings
You maybe required to travel to client premises to work and therefore a current licence and your own reliable transport is essential.
