THE ROLE

Working within the Reporting, Controlling and Consolidation Team in the Australian Shared Services Centre (SSC), you will take charge of providing support to the operations during budgeting and forecasting cycles, assist in developing financial models for data visualisation and analysis and assist the Management Reporting and Controlling team in the delivery of local and overseas Management Reports. You will take ownership of this role and will be passionate about teamwork and enjoy contributing to a fun, professional working environment.

This role reports to the Head of Management Reporting and Controlling.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take ownership of the Budget and Forecast templates including maintenance, generating and releasing to the operations, performing data integrity checks and uploading data into SAP for consolidation and German Group reporting
• Assist with financial modelling for data visualisation and revenue/cost analysis
• Prepare and maintain Dashboards (Regional, National, Product-based)
• Prepare Profit Bridges and Vertical Integration reports
• Contribute towards the development of Management Reporting Packs and data analysis for new mergers & acquisitions
• Support the integration process of aligning local Management Reporting with overseas Group Reporting
• Assist with local and overseas Management Reporting (Weekly Shipment Report, Management Packs, RMT Finance Report, Scorecards, KPIs)
• Assist with the internal controls system and process notes audit documentation for Management Reporting and Controlling function
• Assist with group internal and external audits
• Assist with process improvement initiatives
• Assist with special projects and other tasks as required

EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND

• Minimum four years’ Accounting/Reporting experience
• Proven experience in preparing Management Reports desired
• Experience with process improvements

QUALIFICATIONS

• CPA/CA qualified and ; 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Commerce

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

Technical

• Good knowledge of SAP R/3 and BW
• Advanced Excel skills including ability to write basic macros
• Good working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Power point
• Working knowledge of Tableau preferred but not essential
