Power and Water Corporation manages and operates a significant network of electricity and water infrastructure to service more than 94,000 customers across the Northern Territory. Changes in customer expectation, demand for business efficiency, and the impact of technology have led to a transformation journey across the utility sector.
As a transformational Finance Executive, you will lead the finance, procurement and gas business units to drive performance whilst managing cost and revenue during a period of notable change. Providing advice to the Chief Executive and Board you will enable the Executive Leadership Team to deliver commercially effective services to the Northern Territory community. Supporting the development and implementation of a new operating model you will ensure that robust systems and processes support the sustainable delivery of financial, operational, governance, safety and cultural goals.
Ideally CA or CPA qualified, you will be recognised by your peers for your financial rigour and capacity to lead transformational change through business partnerships. You will have led a finance function that has delivered strategic business outcomes in a complex and dynamic operating environment. Possessing the capacity to engage cross functionally you have the leadership and technical skills to support the implementation of a new operating model. Critical to your success internally will be your alignment with the organisation’s values and passionate focus on the development of people as a key business resource.
