Our POWERHOUSE client located in the Inner West Suburbs of Sydney is currently on the lookout for their new Finance & Management Accountant for their team. Due to a recent growth we are now recruiting for this amazing role.

This company has been around for decades, with Operations across Australia, We currently require a motivated Finance and Management Accountant to manage all aspects of month-end and financial reporting.

The role reports directly to the Finance Director and you will need to be a hands on and detailed Financial Accountant with experience managing financial reporting, Inventory and Job costing requirements.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include :

• Drive process improvements in all the aspects of Financial and Cost accounting process
• Preparation of monthly financial and management reports
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Cash flow reporting and forecasting
• Assisting the management team ensure accurate job budgets and pricing, and tracking of actual costs to budget per project.
• Providing a range of timely accounting and related analytical services.
• Develop and monitor departmental budgets
• Assisting with import costing and stock control
• Payroll preparation, payment and record maintenance

To be successful you will be CA or CPA Qualified, professional, personable with high level communication and interpersonal skills. With a proven financial accounting knowledge and strong organisational skills, you will also be adaptable and flexible to hit the ground running.
