  • Work at the iconic Jubilee Hotel
  • 30 - 38 hour work week
  • Assist in the upcoming refurbishment of the heritage listed hotel

Are you an experienced bookkeeper in the hospitality/pub industry looking for a contract opportunity?

 

  • Work at the iconic Jubilee Hotel, centrally located between the Fortitude Valley and King Street entertainment precincts.

  • The Jubilee Hotel is part of a wider hotel group run by the Burnett Family.

  • Opportunity to assist in the upcoming refurbishment of the heritage-listed, Jubilee Hotel.
  • Contract based for 3 to 6 months (dependant on redevelopment) for 30-38 hours.
  • Wage dependant on applicant background.

About the Job

Duties

  • Data entry of Daily Takings Sheets
  • Banking
  • Data entry and maintenance of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts and cash
  • Weekly Payroll processing
  • Monthly reporting (use of job costing for departmentalised accounts)

Skills

  • High level of operating skills in MYOB AccountRight
  • Experience in the “Future” stock control system
  • Knowledge of book keeping principles and an understanding of basic accounting practices and language
  • Prior pub/hospitality experience required – all applicants to provide referees from the industry
